Celia and The Moon is a light airy crescent shawl, perfect as a layering accessory in winter or wrapping over your shoulders in spring, summer, or fall. I knit mine In Alex Creates Canoa Cotton Rayon which is extra soft with a great shine and drape. The name of the pattern and yarn used is homage to an artist we both greatly admire, the incomparable Celia Cruz.

MATERIALS
US 4 40” circular needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)
600 yards of Fingering weight yarn (Knit in Alex Creates - Canoa Cotton Rayon - Vieja Luna)

MEASUREMENTS
56” wingspan, 16 ½” long

GAUGE
22 stitches and 28 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch on US 4 needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)
