The big sister of the Sprouting Brioche Baby Blanket is here! This one is larger 42 x 42”, and flat lying. The increases are simple to follow with placed stitch markers. Two different weight yarns are used to create a more delicate brioche fabric.

Seladonia is a fun 2 skein project that uses 1 and 2 color brioche and eyelets to create the pattern. It can be worn top down or bottom up which changes the shape and look of the shawl. It looks like a crescent shawl from one side and a triangular shawl from the other. I knit mine using 2 colors of fingering weight yarn in a merino single but this pattern would work for lots of fiber combinations!

Brioche Bandana KAL + Tutorial

I’ve had a lot of requests for a tutorial on how to transition from knitting brioche in the round to flat on the brioche bandana cowl so I decided to run a KAL for the month of April to help motivate everyone to finish their projects (or start a new one!)

If you don’t already have a pattern, there’s 4 different weight versions available on my Ravelry shop and Etsy shop

I’m planning on announcing some prizes towards the middle of the month. If you’d like a chance to win just upload your project on instagram, tag me and use hashtag #briochebandanakal
